Most of us are members of Facebook closed groups being used for family members, clubs, communities, or a group of friends. There are instances that you would want to download an offline copy of the Facebook video posted on your closed group page so you can watch it over and over or just so you have a copy in your personal storage.
Recently, we had a family event and we have a lot of funny videos posted on our closed group page that I wanted to save. Let me share with you how you can do this.
Please note that you are NOT allowed to download any video that is copyrighted or with digital rights management. Check your local laws that may apply. This guide is only applicable for personal videos.
All you need is a computer and a Google Chrome browser
You would need only the 3 things below which most likely you already have.

10 Simple Steps to download the Facebook video from your Facebook Closed Group Page
1 Open your Google Chrome browser, log in to Facebook and navigate to your closed group page to locate the video you want to download.
2 Click on the video on your Facebook page to open it
3 Right-click on the video and click on “Show video URL”
4 Copy the video URL
5 Paste the URL in your browser’s address bar and change the “www” to “m”
6 When the page loads, right-click and on the menu, click on “Inspect”
7 A window pane on the right side will appear, click on “Network”
8 Click on the “Media” submenu and play the video, a filename appears on the right pane
9 Double click on the filename to open a window with the embedded video.
10 Click on the download arrow and wait for the download to complete or see below if the download arrow is not visible.
